We were to design a set of French-suited playing cards along with a package design for the cards.
Outcome
I reimagined playing cards in a 1920s/1930s rubber hose style, which was a popular animation style of the era. I created unique characters for the king, queen, jack, joker, and suits in this style. The card backs feature an Art Deco pattern, and the packaging font reflects the era. The design keeps the traditional playing card essence while maintaining a consistent, fun style.
